There are sections about: Ticketing, Accommodation, Catering, Events, Pets, Camping, Parking, Road runs, and Security.

ROAD RUNS

Will there be road runs organised and how will they be organised?

There will be road runs around the Cotswolds:

These are non-competitive and designed to show members something of the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.  Crews will have to reserve a vacancy the day before: they will report to a control desk on the day of the run when they will be given a printed route. This will be simple to follow and maps are not necessary (but possibly a good idea!). The run will follow a largely circular route of about 50 miles finishing back at the Fire Service College; the route will pass a few places of interest and a number of pubs and other watering holes at which hungry and thirsty crews may wish to stop for sustenance.  Numbers on each run will be restricted to avoid congestion and routes will not be disclosed until check-in.  Crews will be able to set off when they wish after check-in.  Routes will be different each day.  There is no charge for the road runs (except for food, drink and fuel).  Breakdown cover is suggested…

Visits to places of interest:

Daily trips to local places of interest will be organised.  Entrants will have to book in advance and may have to pay for entry to the attraction (group rates will be arranged when possible).  Transport to some attractions will be by coach for which a charge will be raised; for other trips, members may be invited to use their Austins. Numbers may have to be restricted by space on the coach or at the attraction.   The attractions will be listed either on the website in advance or in the centenary programme in the goody bag.

SECURITY

How secure is the site?

The site has 24 hour on-site security. There is only one way in and out of the site which is staffed with security staff 24 hours a day.

Will there be any time restrictions for accessing or leaving the site?

No.
